For best results, start planning 6-12 months before your gap year begins. This gives time for intensive Discovery and Design work, plus lead time to arrange experiences. Minimum lead time is 3 months.

Is this really free?

Yes. The strategy call is completely free with no obligation. We believe in earning your trust through value, not pressure.

Who will I speak with?

You'll speak with a TakeAYear coach who can answer your questions and help you think through whether a gap year is right for you.

What if I'm not ready to commit?

That's completely fine. Many people use the call just to learn more and think through their options. There's no pressure to decide anything on the call.

Can my parents join?

Absolutely. We encourage family participation, especially for initial conversations. Parents often have questions we're happy to address.

What if my gap year is coming up soon?

We can work with tighter timelines (minimum 3 months), but earlier is better. If your gap year starts soon, we'll discuss what's realistic on the call.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem. You'll receive a confirmation email with easy options to reschedule if your plans change.
